There's no point in installing a luxurious folding door only to find it bumps into your sink or toilet when you open it! Sliding showers doors are brilliant if space is limited, as they work by gliding along tracks above your tub. For barrier free access to your shower stall, a trackless or accordion-style door can be ideal. Once you've chosen the door that's best for your bathroom's size and layout, it should be simple to install and will instantly improve your bathroom's style and function.School staff also hit the right note. Site manager Jack Mullen, dressed as Freddie Mercury, backed by a group of cleaning staff, performed the Queen classic, "I want to break free" - on vacuum cleaners and mops instead of musical instruments. It is thought to be the 40th such event to be run consecutively in the village by the villagers.BIRDSEDGE Festival 2011 has been hailed a great success by the organisers.Among those entertaining the crowds were The Fallbacks, a Gateshead College rock band, Heartbeat, a rock band featuring Gateshead Council workers and local singer Rachel Walsh."The evening was again run on free admission and the marquee was well filled, the audience enjoying the barbecue and real ales. "Hopefully many people will put the date for next year's festival, Saturday, July 14, in their diaries," the spokesman added.Gateshead Mayor Joe Mitchinson also got in on the act by making his own fruit smoothie by pedaling as fast as he could on a bike with a liquidiser attached.SWEET MUSIC: A folk duo perform as part of the Music in the Marquee feature of the afternoon's entertainment ( HOOK-A-DUCK: Family action at the festival on Saturday afternoon (S) BOUNCY BUBBLES: Young festival-goers ha a aving fun in the afternoon (S) GRUB UP: The catering corps serve up the festival fare in the village hall (S) CLOWNING AROUND: Youngsters having lots of fun with the Jolly Jester (S) OUT OF AFRICA: Africo Productions, entertain the festival crowds with their spectacular African dance routine in the main showground (S) BELLY GOOD SHOW: The Hathorne Belly Dancers group strut their stuff and captivate the crowd (S) GOING QUACKERS: Elaine Hill's Dog and Duck Roundup delights the Birdsedge Festival-goers last Saturday.
